DSI is a sales enablement company that has an immediate career opportunity for a motivated individual to fill one of our key roles as a Business Solutions Sales Director (BSSM).
The primary function of this role is to maintain and expand relationships with our channel partners nationally. The BSSM will work with existing and newly onboarded partners to help augment their sales offerings to include the products in the DSI Business Solutions portfolio.
As the BSSM for DSI, you will be a leading presence in the industry. The BSSM will represent the company’s extensive portfolio of Business Solutions including; Broadband, Dedicated Access, Security, VoIP, Unified Communications, and Mobility. As a subject matter expert in these product categories, the BSSM will work closely with the DSI base of partners to train sales agents on current offers, promotions, and emerging technology. If needed, the BSSM will help to define solutions for end users and work to close sales through channel partners in conjunction with partner sales agents.
Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties that may be assigned:
- Develop sales partners by augmenting their current product offering to include Small, Medium Business (SMB), and Enterprise solutions
- Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in partner accounts
- Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including channel managers, support, engineering, and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives
- Regularly perform business reviews with channel partners to develop performance objectives, financial targets, and marketing strategy, and define partner needs to facilitate growth
- Complete required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame
- Ensure partner compliance with vendor and government regulations
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of outside sales experience with demonstrated ability to increase the revenue base
- Minimum 3 years of telecommunications sales experience
- Must have a proven track record and experience closing sales in SMB and Enterprise accounts
- Experience with distribution, wholesale, major accounts, or national account selling is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills
Computer Skills
- Must be Proficient in all Microsoft Office software; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
