They are looking for a dynamic Test Technician that will play an important role to the key success of the team!
As Director of Business Sales for the company’s US Fixed Broadband Sales, you will oversee their sales & distribution strategy, distribution partnerships, and operational execution strategy for their US Business service. This position will create and scale their business by understanding the target markets, designing, and leading execution of Channel Sales and Indirect sales procedures. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of Business needs and opportunity within the fast-moving Channel Sales industry and understand the internet needs of local underserved business communities, especially those underserved by traditional wireline internet service. This person will possess the ability to set a vision, be an individual contributor as needed, build a team, and employ a test-and-learn approach to execute measurable results.
You will manage and scale their business sales and distribution channels. Required focus to drive accelerated growth will include Traditional Technology Distributors, Local Retailers, and Business Technology Aggregators. You will build the key procedures that will drive our distribution efforts and own the metrics to measure the team and partners’ performance. In addition to strong leadership capability, achievement of their partner success objectives requires strategic agility, program management skills, and a deep interest in Channel sales and performance optimization. You will hire, train, and coach our team to be a world-class sales and territory management team. You are a self-starter who can operate both tactically and strategically. Sales success requires excellent business insight, regional expertise, creativity, and technical aptitude.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner engagement to help build and assess sales procedures
  • Provide assessment and training to execute marketing and retailer and consumer engagement
  • Provide ongoing feedback on performance to partners and sales teams
  • Manage Sales and performance KPIs
  • Provide pro-active feedback to the US team to improve pricing, targeted marketing, product evolution, and operational efficiencies
  • Design and execute competition benchmark analysis on a constant basis

Requirements:
  • 10+ years’ experience as Director of business sales within telecommunication industry: internet, satellite, cell phones in Business/Consumer service industry
  • Must have 5+ years of experience in a Sales management position supervising /building sales teams and ensuring they meet metrics
  • Ability to travel up to 75% and comfortable being on the road/traveling.
  • Experience selling to distributors and developing/managing distribution channels
  • Experience developing, forecasting and management sales metrics and budgets
  • Experience to speak on numbers and reporting to leadership – excellent experience presenting to leadership/CEO
  • Ability to develop, prepare and present sales strategy using market data and business performance metrics
  • Experience to manage sales and performance KPIs
  • Ability to support sales teams in multiple times zone and available outside of your own time zone
  • Experience in sales in emerging markets, particularly in the traditional indirect channels
  • Experience developing key benchmarks and using analytic tools in measuring business performance
  • Demonstrated success working cross-functionally in matrixed organizations
  • Strong communication skills in both writing and speaking
  • Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • High tolerance for change
