About Harmari:
We are a growing software company looking to bring our client success to the next level. We have built an archive service to assist law enforcement and using our 9 years of experience as a springboard to another growing market opportunity to reach $20MM/year within North America. The target industry is regulation of short term rentals. Our product helps municipalities and private condominiums to monitor, identify and regulate short term rentals such as AirBnB, HomeAway and the like.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for an ambitious individual who is a self-starter and wants to leverage their experience in the GovTech space. The candidate would be high energy, very personable, proactive, caring and attentive. The candidate would have the confidence to independently lead customers through the short term rental compliance story and how Harmari can fit those goals. The candidate will be able to work successfully from a remote office.
Responsibilities:
- Focused on new account acquisition (Sales Hunter) and revenue growth
- Understands strategically and tactically how to approach customers with incumbent supplier and unseat a competitor’s product
- Build and nurture a steady pipeline that consistently generates new business
- Develop strategically viable and well-planned sales opportunities with a target set of accounts/customers.
- Find the correct decision-makers, influencers and end-users and ensure they’re all in the demo room at the same time
- Manage complex sales cycles including navigating municipal government and multiple selling strategies
- Be able to quickly and easily differentiate the Harmari service from its main competitors
- Ensure communications are coordinated, support sales plan objectives and meet organizational expenditure requirements
- Recommend sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses
- Responsible and committed to effectively organizing workload to exceed sales metrics and accurately forecast all revenue opportunities in a timely manner
- Work with both pre-qualified prospects, and also with cold leads
- Proposal response and strategy are also important elements of the day-to-day tasks
- Respond to Requests for Proposal either online or hard-copy
- Travel up to 35% of the time, mostly to the US. Working remotely at account sites, conferences, exhibitions and workshops. Working from home office can be discussed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- University degree or equivalent experience at a senior level
- GovTech software experience is considered an asset
- Accomplished high-energy salesperson with five years of Enterprise level sales experience in Software Services sales
- Proven track record of building strong relationships and ability to use interpretative skills to understand and relate industry/client requirements are essential
- Proven track record selling enterprise solutions, preferably in the government technology industry
- Strong computer skills (30 wpm), must track phone calls, emails, and other sales activity diligently in our CRM
- Tech savvy and comfortable demonstrating key technology concepts
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Problem analysis and problem resolution skills at both a strategic and functional level
- Ability to logically communicate technical information and ideas so others will understand
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, inter-personal skills and presentation skills
Required Knowledge:
- Strong communicator able to effectively articulate the vision, goals and strategic imperatives of the business and act as an enabler for feedback
- Extensive knowledge of the B2B sales environment
- Strong and effective decision maker able to review options in a constructive and methodical manner to establish the best course of action for the organization
- Own and manage relationships with strategic external partners
- Professional Sales certification(s) is a strong asset
Required Experience:
- 3+ years’ successful sales experience in IT/telecommunications industry
- At least 2 years of experience selling in a B2B or a B2G environment

COVID-19 considerations:
We have a hybrid office schedule at the present time. During probation period, 4 day office / 1 day home. After probation period, 2 day office / 3 day home. Office / Home ratio may change due to driving conditions, health restrictions, and other factors
