Are you an ambitious, determined and energetic individual who is a natural-born salesperson, if so we have an fantastic opportunity to join one of our well established, industry leading clients as a Sales Executive.

Our client is in an exciting and uniquely ambitious stage of growth, with clients and data ready for a passionate salespersons to engage with and negotiate effectively to drive new business and cross sell opportunities

Our client is a well-established specialist insurance broker that has provided 1st class service to customers for over 40 years. They have recently been acquired by a company who are a diversified supplier of insurance, telecoms, fuel cards, vehicle tracking and other key business services to companies of all sizes worldwide.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly successful organisation with unlimited progression opportunities for the right candidate to become an expert business-to-business sales professional.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 09:15am to 5:15pm

Salary: Competitive with uncapped commission rewarding high performance

Key responsibilities of the role

  • You will have meaningful conversations by phone which add value to prospects by giving them information on their insurance options and sell the benefits of insurance.
  • They will give you high-quality leads who are customers of other divisions, with a view to gathering the prospect’s needs and requirements and obtaining insurance quotations for them. You also do some cold calling to reach additional leads and boost your selling skills.
  • You will be responsible for managing your sales pipeline (with support and training) and learn to review your performance through the sales cycle. They will give you full training and support to help you meet your sales targets.
  • Spot cross and up-sell opportunities, which can add value to customers and revenue

The experience and skills that we are looking for include:

  • Great communication skills and the initiative to ask the right questions, think flexibly and develop rapport over the phone.
  • A willingness to work to targets and rise to a challenge for financial rewards is essential.
  • Enthusiasm for developing your skills and learning about new products and services is essential.
  • Organisational skills and good attention to detail, as you will be monitoring and managing your sales pipeline and taking detailed data from leads over the phone.
  • Previous sales experience in any sector would be desirable, but the right attitude is the most important quality.
