Sales Manager (Remote- Anywhere in US)

Job Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Generate and close sales to meet sales targets.
  • Become an expert in Somos’ portfolio of products.
  • Understand the target customer and their use cases.
  • Articulate the value proposition and address prospect concerns.
  • Leverage all sales tools (e.g. presentations, data sheets etc) as needed to close sales.
  • Initiate, organize, prepare and lead customer sales calls with consistent follow through.
  • Identify new leads and qualify into opportunities through research, calls, meetings, presentations and attending industry events.
  • Attend multiple industry events in any given month.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of customers’ businesses, decision-makers, influencers, budget and approval processes to close sales in a timely way.
  • Maintain up to date records of prospects interactions and sales stage within the CRM system.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasting and pipeline reporting.
  • Represent and prioritize customer requirements with internal stakeholders to improve product messaging, sales process and product roadmaps.
  • On-board new customers with a smooth transition to the Customer Success team.
  • Prepare as needed, dashboards, reports, pipeline analysis ad budget input for sales forecast to internal stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

  • At least 5 years of related sales experience in the telecom industry.
  • Must have strong working knowledge of telecommunications industry.
  • Familiar of sales processes, tools and performance metrics.
  • Experience working with CRM tools including SalesForce.com
  • Able to research and prioritize the opportunity pipeline to maximize sales value and timing
  • Good creative problem-solving skills that effectively influence decision making in negotiations.
  • Ability to identify, navigate and close with the right decision makers within a prospect.
  • Self-motivated; able to work both independently to complete tasks.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills to build consensus with internal stakeholders based on market intelligence that is product and marketing opportunities that increase sales.
  • Proven ability to successfully collaborate and influence internal stakeholders and build consensus.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

  • Network of Telecom Operators and Service Providers decision makers
  • Knowledge of the Toll-Free Number industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
