Sales in Americas region.
Key account management for key accounts , developing and opening new accounts, development of project sales concepts and implementation of sales strategy, bid management, presentation of solutions and value proposition, contract negotiation , subcontractor relationships.

Experience:
Min. 10 years’ experience in EPIC contracting in the offshore industry, submarine telecom, OGP industry, Marine vessels knowhow, handled Key accounts in multiple countries in APAC especially in Submarine telecom industry. Knowledge of the industry environment and supply chain (marine vessels, shore end operations) and or TR , DWDM products, commercial contract negotiation and presentation skills.
Experience in handling sales and closing the deals for projects of 10 Euro million and above.
Desired knowledge of legal, commercial, technical aspects of the business.
Business proficiency in English and Spanish (will be an added plus)
IT skills: MS office, Project planning tools, Presentation PPT expertise.
Self-starter, agile, customer focused, committed to job, compliance and other company rules and policies.
Frequent travel may be required.
Education: Bachelors in Engineering – Telecom or Mechanical Specialization
OVERALL PURPOSE OF ROLE:
Business development manager in the Americas region, handling Key Accounts for the assigned countries/ region to identify and develop contract opportunities.
Countries of Operation (Subject to change as per the business needs):
Canada, USA , Caribbean countries , Mexico
Customer profile: telecom operators, installers, EPIC OGP, OGP
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide inputs and support the management to develop sales strategies for the region in the view of financial and strategic goals
- Take the ownership and execute those strategies on ground and achieve the sales targets
- As part of the function execute day-to-day operations of the sales and Business development, ensuring focus on the Key accounts in the designated countries
- Maintain the existing accounts and open new accounts in his area of the operation or as requested by the management. (KAM)
- Support the Sales Management to develop new sales channels and local partners and coordinate with them in combination of Key account management to deliver a cohesive approach to market with the objective of ensuring a proactive behaviour in securing the forward contract pipeline in a fast growing sector.
- Ensures the management of commercial bids in order to optimize success in contracts awarding and maximizing Company commercial results with a proper balance of risk during the execution phase. Support the proposal process internally with all support functions in order to secure the sale
- Inputs recommendations on commercial aspects to be applied to proposals to reflect the market conditions
- Tracking and management of the sales opportunity pipeline through to contract closure in order to deliver the Business plan.
- Follow and pursue performance objectives in line with departmental as well as corporate targets and committed work towards Achieving and exceeding sales budget targets
- Facilitates effective client communication for the business
- Provide relevant inputs for reports related to all relevant sales, market and competitor activities in his area of operation and in general in the region.
- Continuously work to reinforce and protect the Prysmian Brand image
- Uphold company safety standards and other compliance policies
- Ensuring bilateral communication flow between the market and the business to establish and maintain positive corporate client relationships
- Effective resolution of disputes across all projects both internally and externally (with clients and sub-contractors) as required
- Support to project managers during the execution of projects on commercial matters and client stance
- Reduction/removal of repeated mistakes across enquiries/proposals through effective analysis of lessons learnt outputs
- Increase in the level and amount of new customer activity and growth in the Prysmian brand
