ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Sales Support Specialist role assists the sales team in obtaining and maintaining customer relationships by performing administrative support and clerical tasks
The Sales Analyst role is a key function that has a significant impact across our the business at a global level. Perfect for someone who enjoys working responsibly, in a fast paced, global and dynamic environment.
Passion for analytics and fact-based decision making, in order to drive immediate impact to the business, are the main drivers for success in this position.
We prefer candidates with an entrepreneurial mindset, willing to join a fast-growing company with first class ambitions within the second-hand mobile devices business.
This role has been created to further bolster the sales analytics aspects of our USA business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Providing frequent sales and inventory reports to the Sales team
- Assisting customers through each step of the sales process, including providing product information, inventory lists, status updates, resolving customer complaints/issues, and answering questions or inquiries
- Entering sales orders, issuing invoices, overseeing the processing/shipping of orders, providing status updates to the customers and answering any questions they may have
- Assist in receiving and processing RMA returns, issuing credits, and communicating with customers through the process
- Assist with all sales administration and reporting activities in the US
- Discover, report and amend any reporting discrepancies
- Assist with optimizing pricing using Alchemy’s internal systems
- Maintain and load pricing in a timely manner, liaise with key stakeholders for approvals
SELECTION CRITERIA
- Strong data-entry and reporting skills required with advanced Excel experience
- Able to effectively communicate with customers in a professional manner
- Highly numerate with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Eagerness to take initiative
- Self-starter – motivated to learn and work autonomously
- Able to trace and revise excel formulas
- Able to handle large amounts of data
- Active listener – can accurately interpret and define requirements
- Communications – skilled at interpreting what they hear and accurately relaying it to those with whom they are connecting
