WHAT YOU’LL DO
Under the general supervision of the Vice President, Sales, this position is responsible for coordinating the workflow from contracts being countersigned to implementing the queue to start the billing process. The role will provide our customers a direct line to understanding the status of projects.
This role will also partner with internal departments to ensure project timelines are met while managing the customers’ expectations.
- Oversees timely, effective, and efficient management and execution of business project timelines by communicating with internal departments
- Ensure timely completion of tasks as outlined by reviewing Smithville’s CRM software and Project Task List
- Completes data compilation following meetings to create client reports. Work with internal department management to develop and implement solutions
- Perform audits on customer contracts to confirm these documents match the service received by the customer
Responsibilities
Sales Support (75%)
- Provides quality and professional customer service when working with both external and internal customers
- Manages customer orders
- Audits customer billing
- Assists with Salesforce projects
- Communicates with customers to answer questions
- Audits customer product offerings and contracts
- Assists Sales Executives in creating exceptional customer experiences
- Maintains product portfolio
- Monitor departmental budget
Account Management (20%)
- Provide primary customer service for CLEC Business Advantage and Enterprise accounts
- Monitor contracts for renewals
Other Duties as assigned (5%)
WHAT YOU NEED
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
- At least two years’ experience in a sales or sales support role; experience in the telecommunications industry preferred
- Strong computer skills required, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and internet. Strong skills with Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Relationship Management software preferred
- Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently

Typical Working Conditions
Work is generally performed in a temperature-controlled environment. Noise level is typically moderate. Typical office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Work outside these hours, including evenings and weekends, will be required for special events and other meetings.
Physical Demands
Manual dexterity, extensive keyboarding, sitting, close vision, talking, and hearing are required.
