Job Description: Sales Support Specialist

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

  • Proactively work with and support the Sales and Management team
  • Create quotations in a timely manner
  • Process customer purchase orders and RMAs in ERP system
  • Proactively communicate order and delivery status with customers
  • Provide invoicing status, documents and generate reports
  • Check inventory levels, past customer history, product pricing, and parts numbering in ERP and associated databases
  • Lead the duty drawback, credit card, and FedEx/DHL processes
  • Utilize an on-line cloud database/customer portal which provides sales and marketing tools and resources

Additional Responsibilities and Duties

  • Secondary lead on supplier part ordering and RTVs
  • Manage and run monthly inventory reports for selective customers
  • Coordinate and liaise with the Marketing team for datasheets, flyers, brochures, social media content, and other collateral
  • Assist in development of content and posting of content to website
  • Assist in RFP and proposal responses

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proficient at Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel and Powerpoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Excels at working in teams
  • Work with minimal supervision and takes initiative and ownership
  • General understanding of the principles of sales
  • 2-4 years experience in customer service
  • Experience in electronic/optics component industry a plus
  • Proficient in Acctivate or similar enterprise software a plus
  • Possible hybrid position (1-2 days a week)
