Offer Description
The Assistant Professors have to carry out high-quality research according to international quality standards in the field of telecommunications engineering and photonics, in coherence with the areas of activity of the TECIP Institute and the objectives set out by the Department of Excellence in Robotics and AI, in particular to enhance the research capabilities of the following two research areas:
1. Networks and Services, with special focus on the following topics: Optical network softwarization, Network acceleration techniques, AI-based network automation, Optical transport for B5G and 6G mobile radio access, 3D Networking.
2. Microwave Photonics, with special focus on the following topics: photonics for the B5G/6G radio access, Integrated photonics for remote sensing, mm-Wave systems, All-optical processing for B5G/6G systems, Integrated photonics and packaging for space applications.
