We are looking for a satellite internet installation and service technician to service a new technology just being deployed to the marketplace. This new technology is in high demand and will change rural telecommunications and internet service.
The technician needs to have basic understanding of residential construction principles. The technician will be required by the provider to undergo a background check and technical certification process.
Technician will be an independent contractor and can work full time, part time, flex days and times. Technicians set their own calendar of availability for their coverage area.
Contractual Pay is based on completed work orders only, time on-site for the technician on average places the pay at an approximate hourly pay between $40 and $60 per hour. There will be ongoing work for this project.
The installation / service technician will work from home and self-dispatch to coincide with customer expectations for arrival and work completion.
Technician will be required to provide their own tools (minimal tool set required) and transportation to and from customer site. Company will provide all required installation materials and equipment. The materials will be provided to the technician, at no cost to the technician and remain the property of the company, but be consigned to the tech only for use on company’s work orders.
