The Installation Group offers each Technician a comprehensive on-site training program with ongoing field training and support.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform installation and servicing of telecommunications equipment
• Responsible for some administrative duties through both manual and automated processing
• Maintain a safe and professional work site environment
• Represent The Installation Group and its respective clients in a professional manner
• Work within the Occupational Health & Safety guidelines
• Required to meet quality standards for installation and servicing
• Work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Perform a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, manual dexterity, and working in adverse weather conditions
• Provide superior on-site customer service
• Work in a variety of outdoor settings as well as within residential and commercial settings
• Demonstrate dependability and punctuality

Qualifications and Skills

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Previous cable or satellite installation considered an asset
• Previous experience working in various elements (+30 degrees / -30 degrees) considered an asset
• Prepared to use your own Tools and PPE equipment (tool purchase program offered through the Installation Group)
• Must be available to work day and evening shifts, along with weekends and statutory holidays
• Must have access to laptop, internet connection and printer
• Valid driver’s licence (Class “G” or “5”, driver’s validity licence check required)
• Ability to carry up to 75lbs
• Criminal record check required
• Good verbal and written communication in English (French considered an asset)
• Customer service experience considered an asset
• Ability to work both independently and in a team setting

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
