The Installation Group is the rural field installation leader for communications and technology in Canada.

The Installation Group offers each Technician a comprehensive on-site training program with ongoing field training and support.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform installation and servicing of telecommunications equipment
- Responsible for some administrative duties through both manual and automated processing
- Maintain a safe and professional work site environment
- Represent The Installation Group and its respective clients in a professional manner
- Work within the Occupational Health & Safety guidelines
- Required to meet quality standards for installation and servicing
- Work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Perform a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, manual dexterity, and working in adverse weather conditions
- Provide superior on-site customer service
- Work in a variety of outdoor settings as well as within residential and commercial settings
- Demonstrate dependability and punctuality
Qualifications and Skills
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Previous cable or satellite installation considered an asset
- Previous experience working in various elements (+30 degrees / -30 degrees) considered an asset
- Prepared to use your own Tools and PPE equipment (tool purchase program offered through the Installation Group)
- Must be available to work day and evening shifts, along with weekends and statutory holidays
- Must have access to laptop, internet connection and printer
- Valid driver’s licence (Class “G” or “5”, driver’s validity licence check required)
- Ability to carry up to 75lbs
- Criminal record check required
- Good verbal and written communication in English (French considered an asset)
- Customer service experience considered an asset
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting

Salary: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
