Join us as an Engineering Sr. Director in our Telco Systems Business team in India to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.

What You’ll Achieve

As an engineering leader you will be a highly visible member of the Dell Technologies Telco Systems Business (TSB) team. You will be a trusted advisor for Executives across TSB to manage our rapidly growing business. A strong candidate will work at both a strategic and operational level to collaborate cross-functionally to provide best-in-class response to customer needs. You will achieve this by collaborating with key stakeholders from across Dell.

The Senior Director of Telecom Engineering will recruit and oversee a talented group of product development engineers in India and Egypt. You will build a higher performing and inclusive culture of best-in-class engineers focused on delivering innovative solutions to Telecom customers. In this role you will leverage your technical expertise and executive presence to create tangible results and a record of meeting customer and roadmap commitments

You will:

• Build a high performing team of software, hardware, and test engineers at all career levels working on site in Bangalore and Cairo, and remote in India and Egypt.
• Act as the site lead providing both matrixed and direct leadership to team members in the region.
• Build a culture of inclusion, innovation, and accountability across engineering.
• Act as the central point of contact, linking the India and Egypt teams to other teams globally within TSB and across Dell.

Essential Requirements

• 18+ years of related industry experience or equivalent skill.
• Experience as a senior engineering leader in the Software development space.
• Experience in a new product development lifecycle and in driving cross-functional development efforts.
• Executive presence with strong customer facing skills.
• Exceptional leadership and communication abilities; must be able to lead and drive change across the organization with a focus on delivery to our customers.

Desirable Requirements

• Experience establishing a new organization.
• Experience in an engineering role serving Telecom customers.
• Technical master’s degree is preferred.
