Senior Field Technician 2 (Lead Electrical Installer)

Field Tech 2- Lead Installer _ –

IMMEDIATE NEED – QUICK Hire start next week! for an experienced Senior Field Technician who has Managed a team of techs performing installs – Looking for someone with ADVANCED management skills, CAT5/CAT6/ low voltage/telecom/cable/wiring, etc. MUST be able to show experience holding techs accountable for skills/performance, time management (meeting strict project deadlines daily, performance evaluations of your team, reporting/correcting discipline issue, etc). We also would like someone who is good at training/teaching/mentoring/motivating good performance team.

2-4 years’ proven experience managing small to medium teams/projects (4-6 techs). Some one who can work directly with the Director of Operations to handle daily reporting/ keeping deadlines/taking tasks as needed for the Operations team (internal work).

Ability to Lead, train & coach individuals.

3-4 years’ experience in low voltage/telecom (including cabling experience).

1-2 years programming and configuration experience.

Experience with onsite reporting/building reports daily/getting reports in on time to office/clients.

Ability to train techs quickly on reporting/status updates to Director of Operations.

Excellent communication skills (verbal/written).

– Good time management, advanced organizational/multitasking skills.

• This job you will with the ALL week with your tech team M-Th staying in hotels overnight. (hotel and food perdium provided).
• MUST have a VALID DRIVERS LICENSE with no DUI’s/SUSPENSIONS in the past 5 years and pass a motor vehicle check/drive a company van.
• Must be willing to travel and room with a team member in hotel room.
• Able to pass a full Background Check.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract (1099) to start – able to convert to W-2 employment (discussed upon interview ). Overtime at time and 1/2 (both 1099 and W-2 status), paid travel time.
