Bell Business Markets (BBM) provides a range of connectivity, managed and professional services to enterprises of varying sizes. The Strategic Pricing Team is looking for a senior manager, who has a thorough understanding of Bell Business Markets services across all regions and segments, and will be supporting pricing activities and strategies. This individual will work closely with Bell Canada’s sales team across the country, and must possess the business acumen and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a team of seasoned pricing and deal specialists – supporting proposals, RFPs, deals, contract negotiations and clauses, as well as pricing and costing assessments/approvals.
Establish the optimal solution strategy and price for strategic and multi-portfolio deals
Provide insights and recommendations based on analysis of pricing and profitability performance
Develop a pricing strategy, framework and guardrails to achieve Bell Business Market’s revenue and profitability goals
Design, communicate and effectively execute the pricing strategy
Create a culture of testing and learning – conduct regular performance and ROI analysis to understand effectiveness of strategy, and make continuous improvements
Identify and pursue opportunities for automation, simplification, cost reduction and improvement
Prepare strong and well-supported business case to executives for pricing review and approval
Skills and Compentencies:
Highly analytical, with an understanding of the basic principles of working with large and complex data sets – able to interpret data and generate actionable insights and recommendations
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a simple and concise manner, and influence key stakeholders using business cases and data insights
Not afraid to challenge the status quo or implement initiatives to drive positive changes
Ability to manage internal and external escalations and provide feasible solutions
Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, and deliver targeted outcome
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced working environment and meet tight deadlines
People leader with excellent coaching and leadership skills. Lead with examples
Excellent understanding of financial modeling: cash flow, competitive analysis, sensitivity analysis
Superb MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
University degree in finance, mathematics, computer science, business, engineering or a related area, Masters or Professional Designation is an asset
Previous wireless and telecommunications experience is preferable
5+ years experience in strategic pricing, revenue management, analytics and business intelligence
