With 5G network roll out across the country on our award winning world’s fastest network, connected devices are a key focus area for us, and we currently require a high energy individual to join the Commercial Marketing Strategy and Programs team as the Senior Market Intelligence Manager – IOT and Industry Solutions. In this role you will play a key role in developing and executing our pricing strategy for the entire suite of IOT and connected device products, which balances profitability with acquisition growth for the Commercial business segment. Working collaboratively with key stakeholders within marketing, strategy and planning, product operations, and sales channels, you will be the pulse of our acquisition strategy to drive market share and profitable growth.
The successful candidate will be an integral member of a core team entrusted to manage mass market pricing strategy for all wireless services in our commercial segment. The candidate will drive our wireless acquisition strategy for IOT and connected devices in a dynamic and highly competitive environment. Their strategic and analytical lens will ensure that recommendations are rooted in meeting both our business priorities and financial objectives. The candidate must be able to define business problems, perform rigorous data analyses, while investigating clear paths to inform and arrive at actionable decisions. Most importantly, the candidate will leverage the breath of their skills and experience to shift between deep analysis to clear recommendations to pricing execution.
Here’s how
- Lead the acquisition pricing strategy for IOT and connected device portfolio for the Commercial business segment, through deep understanding of our customer needs, competitive landscape, our strategic objectives and product offerings, and articulate clear recommendations for our pricing construct evolution to continue to drive profitable growth
- Managing marketing and sales activity through mass market offers and targeted marketing campaigns to ensure we meet our core KPI targets on gross loading, nets, porting and AMPU
- Measuring effectiveness of key initiatives, analysing customer and market trends, and swiftly pivoting when required backed by strong data and analytics
- Work closely with our key stakeholders in product and sales, and other areas of business including within marketing, operations, planning and finance to ensure our IOT portfolio is competitive and aligned with our mobility pricing benchmarks, and enables us to achieve profitable growth
- Lead weekly forums with the leadership team to review business performance and inform key pricing decisions to help achieve the business objectives
Qualifications
What you bring
- Strong analytical and business problem solving skills with expertise in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and other productivity tools
- Proven hypothesis-driven approach to analyzing problems with an ability to zoom in and uncover insights that inform actionable decisions
- Clear, confident delivery of perspectives and recommendations to peers and senior leaders to drive successful initiatives
- Strong project management skills and disciplined execution, maintaining quality of deliverables across a number of varied tasks and responsibilities
- Thrive on ambiguity and change
- University degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or Engineering
- MBA degree preferred but not required

- Wireless telecommunications and/or technology-based industry experience
