Join our Network Engineering team!

Do you have experience across a diverse range of network hardware/software, protocols and routing?

General Responsibilities:

• Translate business needs into technical actions and plans, handle technology lifecycles, and produce architectures, engineering plans, and roadmaps for data network solutions.
• Provide technical direction and requirements to service providers to ensure there is optimum delivery of committed service levels.
• Support the design, review and validation of network solutions for network-related projects. Assess, analyze and synthesize network data in support of the current network infrastructure. Assess alternatives for short- and long-term impacts and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Analyze current network design and operational standards; identify gaps and improvements, collaborate with architecture team to deploy new standards.
• Produce solutions for business units that encompass Day 0, Day 1 and Day 2 operations in addition to the technical solution, aligning with corporate/group standards, service definitions, and strategies.
• Implement technical solutions.
• Contribute to design cases and proposals. This may include presentation to senior management.
• Provide governance oversight and resolving complex network problems. This involves working closely with business units, other infrastructure teams and external vendors.
• Provide mentorship and technical support to more junior members of the team.

Requirements:

• Strong Cisco routing and switching experience.
• Strong hardware build experience and deployment.
• Proficient with Network standards and methodologies.
• Experience with Aruba networks and other vendor products (Arista, Juniper, etc.) preferred.
• Good background experience in network and security.
• IPSEC and VPN Tunnel experience
• Minimum 5yrs + experience in telecommunications and networking preferred.
• Relevant education: college/degree in computer science, technology, certification in network/security technology preferred.
