The Consumer Mobility Database Marketing (DBM) team is looking for a Sr Performance Analyst. We’re seeking a strategic thinker who enjoys working with data, and has excellent communication, collaboration and problem solving skills.
Our team and what we’ll accomplish together
As Sr Performance Analyst on the DBM team, you will help deliver list generation activities for 1:1 marketing communication campaigns that deploy to our customer and prospecting bases. You will help facilitate data investigations, universe sizing exercises, and execute list pulls for various marketing campaigns in conjunction with our cross-functional teams.
What you’ll do
Examine and interpret data to draw conclusions that drive marketing strategies
Work within a dynamic and cross-functional environment, explaining complex concepts and results to a diverse stakeholder community in business language
Extract, cleanse and modify raw data from various data warehouses
Present data output results and recommendations in forums/meetings
Balance the demands of multiple projects while maintaining a high level of diplomacy
Liaise with business primes to identify the best targeting strategies for marketing campaigns to optimize outcome and results
Develop code that pulls data for customer lists based on specific targeting criteria
Write code and automate processes using Statistical Analysis System (SAS) or Procedural Language/Structured Query Language (PL/SQL) to drive operational efficiency
What you bring
Sound knowledge & best practices in campaign management, customer insights, data warehousing, segmentation, and predictive modeling
Detail oriented with strong business acumen
Proficiency with SAS, Oracle, and other SQL-based tools
Ability to work diplomatically and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
Ability to consult and influence business stakeholders to proactively add value
Confidence to adapt to and manage changing, and occasionally conflicting, priorities
Excellent time management, project management and organizational skills
Ability to translate data to analysis to insight to recommendations
Ability to deliver high quality work in a fast pace environment
Post-secondary degree in Information Management, Business, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics or other quantitative disciplines
Great-to-haves
3+ years of hands-on experience in all phases of campaign management: ideation, planning, targeting, list generation, measurement, and recommendation
3+ years of hands-on experience in extracting large volume of data from data warehouses using IBM Campaign, SAS, Oracle, and PL/SQL
Working knowledge of privacy regulatory requirements as it relates to direct marketing
Telecommunications industry experience
