Background:

Senior Project Managers (SPM) are responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. Project managers plan and designate project resources, monitor budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way. This is all done within the confines of a company’s goals and vision. Project managers are needed on a wide variety of projects, including multi-location rollouts, Dispatch services (T&M break-fix), new construction projects or renovations and a range of LAN infrastructure deployments.
The Senior Project manager will primarily direct the flow and assignments of work that is assigned to the project coordinator team on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities:

– Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and activities. Facilitate the maintenance of issue lists, and decision documentation, meeting minutes, agendas, and status reports as well as other tools crucial to project success. Facilitate cross-functional work teams that include internal employees, technical support, operations personnel, vendor consultants, and end users.

– Provide regular project updates and status reports for end clients and management and ensure timely escalation of issues when necessary.

– Provides technical support to PCs and/or certified installers as needed.

Desired Skill:

·5+ years project manager experience.
·Previous experience in the voice/data communications industry is preferred.
·Previous experience as a Field Technician in the voice/data communications industry is preferred.
·Demonstrated ability with multi-level project management skills.
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·Highly organized with attention to detail.
·Demonstrated ability to work in a high-pressure situation.
·Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and Access.

Education Required:

·PMP or PMP candidate is preferred. Equivalent experience in lieu of PMP certification is acceptable.
