Job title: Senior Project Manager (Telecoms) – German speaking

Location: Düsseldorf or Bonn, Germany

Our client is looking for a Senior Project Manager to support its global operator company in wireless networks. This is a permanent role which requires at least 8 years of project management experience in the telecoms industry.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the profitability of customer projects including products and services
• Achieving best in class efficiency in sourcing, production, distribution and implementation to by considering our business and Customer KPIs
• Leading and managing the project organization in the regions in order to get the project initiation, preparation, execution and closing done according to customer project processes and principles
• Responsible for Scope Management, time Management, cost Management, quality Management, Communication Management, Risk Management, and Procurement Management
• Ensuring Project profitability (gross margin, products and delivery services) and manage direct costs (products and delivery services) and Project inventories (DOP, work-in-progress)
• On-time delivery of Delivery Packages to customer (site acceptance accuracy)
• Telecom implementation lead times and Roll-out hand-over documentation
• Ensuring Customer satisfaction and Employee satisfaction
• Responsible for demand planning accuracy (for projects)

Requirements

• At least Bachelor degree in technical or economical fields. Additional education by proven set of managerial and soft skill trainings
• Experience in management and extensive experience from project management preferably in the area of telecommunications business or equal (other infrastructure or system business)
• At least 8 years’ experience in senior management position with business responsibility, experience in leading organizations with more than 10 people, experience in managing partners/ subcontractors
• Good business understanding and development skills
• Good skills in customer relationship management
• Fluency in German and English is preferred
• Must be eligible to work within the EU
