Senior Outside Business to Business Sales Executive

Job Summary:
The right candidate is responsible for prospecting potential new clients and closing IT services contracts. This includes actively calling prospects over the phone, preparing proposals and quotes, and being a part of the entire sales process. This position also includes direct executive team interaction and reporting as well as mentoring with a short path to the senior management level.
Compensation:
Base salary of $70,000 plus Commission ($90k-$100k first year potential)
Responsibilities:
· Actively prospect for new clients to include: cold calling, utilizing referral partnerships, network through business relationships and events and utilizing LinkedIn to grow monthly IT managed services recurring revenue.
· Generate business and ensure monthly quotas are met.
· Build a referral network and meet with referral partners (strategic relationship meetings) monthly.
· Plans and organizes their day to be most productive including proposal creation, making presentations, and prospecting business customers.
· Identify and reach key decision makers.
· Ability to handle conflict and objections with a levelheaded approach.
Requirements:
· Must have ability to prospect and convert calls to actual sales with good negotiation skill set.
· Must have the drive and ability to excel in a fast-paced and competitive sales environment.
· Must be driven to build a book of business and leverage all methods of generating leads.
· Comfortable in a fast-paced, high growth, entrepreneurial business environment.
· Computer literacy in CRM, proficient in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Internet required.
· Must have strong ethics and work as an effective collaborative team member.
· Must have reliable and appropriate transportation and be willing to drive to visit customers.
Qualifications:
· Education: Minimum associate or bachelor’s degree (or equivalent job experience).
· 3-5 years of successful business to business sales experience
· Proven ability to reach, access and secure meetings with appropriate decision makers
· Previous Managerial Experience is a plus
· Managed Services sales experience a plus
· IT knowledge preferred
