Your impact

Key Responsibilities

• Supervision & Coordination:
• Supervise on-site telecom installation activities including structured cabling, fiber optics, and network equipment.
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of telecom systems.
• Monitor subcontractors and vendors to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
• Technical Oversight:
• Review telecom drawings, layouts, and technical documents.
• Ensure proper installation of telecom racks, patch panels, cable trays, and grounding systems.
• Oversee testing and commissioning of telecom systems (e.g., OTDR, Fluke testing).
• Quality & Compliance:
• Conduct inspections and quality checks on telecom installations.
• Ensure adherence to local telecom regulations, data centre standards (e.g., TIA-942, Uptime Institute), and client requirements.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain daily site reports, progress updates, and issue logs.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings and handover documentation.
• Health & Safety:
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure safe working practices on-site.

Here’s what you’ll need

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.
• 12 Years ( 5+ years of experience in telecom supervision, preferably in data centre or large-scale infrastructure projects)
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling systems, fiber optics, and telecom standards.
• Familiarity with tools like OTDR, Fluke testers, and cable certification equipment.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and using MS Office, AutoCAD is a plus.
