Senior Telco Solution Architect – (d/f/m)

Location: Germany (Bonn, Düsseldorf, München preferred)

The Opportunity

As a Telco Solution Architect within Cognizant, you shall offer architecture/consulting services to Tier 1 European Carriers or Telco vendors assisting the network operator clients in their telco modernization and digital transformation, providing architectural and design expertise to various customer driven projects. You will interact with a wide range of internal teams, partners, and customers as your thought expertise and influence help the Telco industry to transform. You possess a strong background in Telco Domain – includes Network Core/Edge/OSS domain, having solid understanding of the process, products, reference architecture and Industry standards.

Must Haves

Required & nice to have Skills

• 12+ years of related experience as Telco Architect in Consulting, Design and Pre-Sales
• Telco SME esp. with solid exposure in the German Telco Space and knowledge of German Language as a must
• Proven background as a Telco Architect (Network /Edge/OSS domain) with wireline/wireless Operators
• Experience in any of Wireless (LTE/5G) or SDWAN or Cable Network domain
• Experience in Telco Cloud, SDN/NFV, 5G modernization, OSS transformation, Mobile edge computing and hyperscale telco cloud/ data is preferred
• Experience of designing technology aspects of the solution in line with business objectives and architecture principles.
• Previous experience of working within client-side delivery and consultative environments
• Detail oriented and advanced problem-solving skills
• University degree

Nice To Have/ Your Chance To Grow

• Ability to bring out Technology stack for a given customer requirement
• Experience in Telecom OSS – Service Assurance, Service Fulfilment, Orchestration, Inventory Management, Order to Activation will be a plus
• Development & Integration experience with Micro-Services architecture
• Experience of selling Services within a System Integrator or Vendor organization with strong understanding of operational issues and solutions is welcome
• Experience working with TM Forum is a plus
• Understanding of IOT / Industry 4.0 Value proposition/s is an added advantage
