ExecuTeam Staffing is partnering with the City of Houston’s Public Works & Engineering Division in their search for a Senior Telecommunications Specialist. This position is a short-term contract, located in the Downtown Houston area, with a possible temp-to-hire opportunity. Senior Telecommunications Specialist Responsibilities

• Responsible for activating, supporting, and servicing Android and Apple wireless devices.
• Utilize customer service skills while managing customer demands and equipment.
• Create/update/close customer order request
• Follow-up on all internal/external customers inquiries as to order status
• Utilize software platform Service Now to complete all project requests.

Senior Telecommunications Specialist Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field is required
• One year of experience in telecommunications, including needs evaluation, solution recommendation, and installation coordination, is required.
• Four years of telecommunications experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
• Must have a working knowledge of a service desk tool such as Service Now.
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• VALID Texas Driver’s License is required
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
