Applicants are invited for this opportunity to join the Digital Services Telecoms team as the Senior Telecoms Systems Engineer. The role will make a significant contribution to the Trust’s vision of becoming a Digital Hospital, which we believe will improve the working lives of our staff and the overall experience of our patients.

The successful candidate will have good experience supporting an enterprise Mitel Telecoms Infrastructure. You will be able to demonstrate good technical and communication skills, and a good understanding of information technology and security. You will be dynamic and outgoing and possess the desire to improve the working lives of staff by providing excellent support. You will develop good working relationships with all potential stakeholders and 3rd parties.

Because of the needs of our staff, the post-holder will be required to work outside normal working hours during outages and project go-live.

The post is primarily based in Chertsey House, St. Peter’s Hospital, but will be required to work at Ashford Hospital and other smaller sites within the local health community (e.g., the Woking Hub). A driving license is essential.
