Are you a motivated, solution-orientated Service Operations Manager, keen to take your next step within management, perhaps you are currently a senior team leader of an engineering or a facilities team. Do you have an understanding of engineering such as installations or have previously worked as an engineer within the security or telecoms industry, able to lead by example, enjoy being hands-on, and have the ability to delegate tasks where necessary? If so Banham is looking for a Service Operations Manager to join their Aftercare and Service team! You will be working for a Market Leading company and be given the responsibility to lead and manage a team of engineers that are dedicated to ensuring the best service and customer care is provided at all times.

What Can you bring to Banham?

Your experience managing or leading a team within installations, service, maintenance or facilities management will ensure you are able to:

  • An ability to take ownership of the onboarding, mentoring, and development of Aftercare Engineers.
  • Have the capability to work collaboratively with administrative and support teams on workload and engineer diary planning.
  • Ensure adherence to company H&S policies and performance to target.
  • You will be able to work with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Happy and willing to get involved with the day-to-day engineering tasks such as attending customer sites where required to support the resolution of complex challenges.
  • Experience with collating, preparing and delivering KPI Data on engineer performance and departmental costs.
  • Your knowledge of conducting and supporting the completion of field-based inspections and investigations will be advantageous.
  • Being able to conduct and support the completion of safety and quality audits, with a focus on Banham and NSI Gold Standards.
  • Have a customer-centric attitude.
  • Bring an understanding and experience in aftercare administration and management.
  • Have great organisational and communication skills, along with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate information/data into insight and search for solutions
  • An analytical approach to work, with superb managerial leadership skills.
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering great service through an operational engineering team
  • Knowledge of intruder alarm equipment, CCTV and Access Control is desirable alongside an understanding of electrical installations and operational service delivery.
