Smart Home Security Technician

Contraktel Communications Limited is engaged in subcontracting business with TELUS.
Multiple positions are available to joint the successful team.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional customer service during the installation or repair visit
• Ability to offer additional products and services and be able to close the deal
• Install or repair Smart Home Security and 5G wireless internet for residential customers
• Perform testing and diagnosing the service up to the high standard
• Complete inventory tracking software
• Responsible for the successful completion of a daily workload
• Constantly meeting the performance metrics
• Be able to follow the established safety rules and practice
• Able to climb the ladders and work safely on the heights when required

Qualifications:

• Ability to interact with customers and provide exceptional customer experience and handling both favorable and unfavorable interactions
• Able and comfortable to recommend and upsell TELUS products and services
• Possess problem solving and analytical skills
• Able to work with minimal supervision, various shifts including weekends, statuary holidays
• Fluent in English, genuine in oral communication and professional in writing
• Quickly learn and adapt to the changes

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s licence Class 5
• Clear criminal record and be able to pass criminal BackCheck
• Proven record of customer service
• Previous experience telecommunication, security industry, home installation services and sales

• Be able to provide his own with ladder roof rack

• Need to have GST# or open one

• WCB account and clearance letter in good standing

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

• Commission pay

• Winnipeg, MB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• alarm technician: 1 year (preferred)
