SMB Marketing Manager generates high-quality leads from SMB prospects and existing customers, by crafting fully integrated, engaging & exciting marketing campaigns, that convert to sales.
The campaigns will leverage the wider VMO2 & Business Brand activity and utilise the full marketing mix (including Email, paid media, webinars, and social channels) to help deliver a brilliant customer journey, and ultimately inbound leads, as a result of driving consideration to help achieve an ambitious growth agenda.

SMB Marketing plays an integral and valuable part of the overall SMB Business within VMBO2, which is an exciting area, in which VMO2B is investing heavily this year. This recognition has allowed us to build some exciting openings, expand the team to help drive awareness, convert to sales leads, and support our Sales organisations.

Key responsibilities
- Development of a fully integrated outcome-driven multi-channel marketing programme and plan for SMB Customers, and brilliant execution of that plan
- Driving the revenue number along with the rest of the team from SMB customers by acquiring high value and X-selling into existing customers
- Build and implement a robust strategy with a focus on driving demand INTO our sales teams, utilising the optimum mix of marketing channels (email, paid media, etc) and other cross-functional resources
- Being the driving force for campaign creativity that brings our brand to life through our offline and online digital channels and journeys
- Create targeted activity using segmentation & customer lifecycle stage – both existing and prospect customers – to optimise campaign programmes and deliver more demand/leads for sales.
- Co-ordinate and manage agencies/internal resources to meet deadlines, supervise budgets, and assess creative/campaign performance (ROI)
The must-haves
In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;
- Experience in B2B campaign strategy and execution, within a complex B2B environment, that has delivered a positive impact (IT, tech or telecoms industries desirable)
- Comfortable dealing with complex business environments & leading cross-functional teams
- Strong customer focus and ability to put the customer at the heart of business strategy
- Excellent Commercial Acumen
- Strong presentation, communication and writing skills
- Degree level qualification or CIM diploma desired but not essential
