The team you’ll be part of

Network Infrastructure

The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society. Nokia’s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.

As a Software Tester, you will work on our core network management products running on the most up to date technologies (Kubernetes, helm, containerd) on the market today. You will become a member of our dynamic Test Engineering team.

Education Recommendations

Currently a candidate for bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering or Computer Science, or related field with an accredited school in Canada.

What You Will Learn And Contribute To

As part of our team, you will:

• Develop test scripts using javascript or python
• Execute tests (scripts and manual) against a running NSP system
• Troubleshoot and document issues found with design counterparts

What Is Nokia Looking For From Me

You have:

• Programming skills in python and javascript
• Ability to learn quickly and to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem solving skills

It would be nice if you also had:

• Knowledge of software testing methodologies
• Familiarity with automation test environments (i.e. mocha, selenium)
• Experience with Linux or other RHEL based OS
• Familiarity with ReST interfaces
