Solar Project Manager (Trenching/Pile Driving)

I have just partnered with a company looking for an ambitious and energetic Trenching/Pile Driving Business Development professional to help them expand into the solar farms and wind farms sector. They have already been working in this sector for a few years and need a strong skilled person to come in and take control. They are are looking for a person that has the knowledge to incorporate the Drilling/Trenching/Pile driving services into the Solar Farms and Wind Farms. Applicants with heavy Background in Solar/Wind Trenching, Drilling and Pile Driving experience will be considered.

Key responsibilities for Trenching/Pile Driving Business Development:

  • Building market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships.
  • Tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
  • Has background knowledge in the solar field and wind field drilling, trenching and Pile driving
  • Discovering and exploring business opportunities.
  • Screening potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials.
  • Provide oversight of multiple superintendents and construction staff
  • Recommending equity investments.
  • Developing negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new ventures with company strategies and operations.
  • Examining risks and potentials for the business opportunities.
  • Estimating partners’ needs and goals.
  • Closing new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, and integrating contract requirements with business operations.
  • Protecting the organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
  • Ensure contract, permit, and authorization compliance, as applicable.
  • Exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Requirements for Business Development Director : MUST HAVE 5YRS+OF PROVEN Trenching/Pile Driving Business Development****

  • 10+ Years of Project Supervision and or OSP Project Management Experience or Bachelors Degree in Construction Management with 6 years of field experience managing OSP construction projects
  • Extensive Knowledge of OSP construction methods including Directional Drilling, Trenching, Plowing, Manhole & Handhole placement, Fiber Optic Cable Placement, Final Restoration
  • Experience working with various Departments of Transportation, Railroads, and Private Landowners
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.
  • Experience in managing large telecom construction projects
