Be the lead architect in designing Amdocs’s foundation using your deep understanding of the world of software while researching new technologies.

What will your job look like?

You will

• Lead the architecture and design of Amdocs’s underlying infrastructure.
• Work with software engineers and other partners (i.e Architects, Product) to define and be aligned with business, development, and deployment needs.
• Research and adopt new technologies used for applying concrete solutions to ongoing challenges.
• Build high-level solutions for business requests.
• Model the system components and define the R&R between components.
• Contribute towards the creation of business flows based on client requirements.
• Meet customers to understand their needs and explain the product architecture.

All you need is…

• Strong knowledge of Amdocs BSS products including Ensemble and Amdocs ONE suite (CatalogONE, Real-Time Billing, Brite Bill, DigitalONE, MarketONE)
• Strong working experience on any of the Cloud hyper-scalers ( AWS, GCP )
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as solution architect covering encompassing several platforms and tools
• At least 10 years of experience working in Amdocs products and solutions in defining customer requirements, solutions and project implementation.
• A strong problem-solving mindset, comfortable working with customers, partners, and the Amdocs Engineering team to develop new products and solutions.
• Create and maintain end-to-end architecture artifacts including but not limited to, interface design document, process design document, sequence diagrams, data flow diagrams and data models across the BSS ecosystem.
• Review business requirements and collaborate with development teams to identify system impacts and estimates. Conduct and represent in Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions as necessary during the design and integration phases.
• Exceptional communication skills enable you to understand customer needs and navigate to successful solutions. The ability to converse at an executive level with both commercial and technology stakeholders.
• Collaborate and drive alignment with key business stakeholders, solution development and testing teams on architecture approach and direction.
• Good Knowledge of Microservices and Cloud Technologies.
• Wide knowledge of relevant products and end-to-end Business process of telecom industry, relevant technical architecture, and industry standards.- Enterprise Architecture tools (Visio, IBM Rational Software Architect, etc.)
