Enghouse Interactive is looking for a Pre-Sales Solution Engineer to join our growing team!

Who we are:

Enghouse Interactive serves its market through direct sales into end-user customers and via a network of channel partners. The technology software solutions are a combination of premise-based and cloud Contact Centre (CCaaS) and UCaaS. Functionality scope includes: IVR, Call Recording, Quality Monitoring, Workforce Management, Knowledge Management, Dialler, Speech Analytics, Video Conferencing and Operator Attendant Console. Enghouse Interactive has a Professional Services and Customer Support operation responsible for direct delivery to end-users, and for expert services support to channel partners in EMEA.

The Role and What you will be doing:

As a member of the Technical Sales and Solutions Consulting team, the successful candidate will provide technical sales, solution design and post-sales operational consulting support to Enghouse Sales and Partner network. The TSSC function also has a strong working relationship with colleagues within the Professional Services and Product Management groups.

• Technical lead during the pre-sales engagement, includes participating in prospect meetings, conducting discovery sessions to understand business challenges and to identify solutions, delivering compelling demonstrations
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers on an operational and technical level, and act as a trusted advisor with an in-depth knowledge of the Enghouse CCaaS and UCaaS underlying architecture, process, and protocols
• Creation of technical solution proposal and scope of works documents, with accountability for software dimensioning and services quotation accuracy
• As part of a bid team, responding to the technical aspects of RFIs, RFPs and Tenders
• Work closely with Enghouse Product Management and R&D teams as a customer advocate and facilitate the change request process
• Participate in the post-sales handover process to the Enghouse Professional Services team upon contract award
• Contribute to the generation and maintenance of relevant product value propositions, business cases, case studies and the internal knowledge bases
• Support Enghouse Sales and Marketing in Demand Generation activities and events
• Work both independently and as a team player, assisting multiple diverse pre-sales projects at various stages in the sales cycle

What you bring:

• Educated to degree level, or equivalent
• Previous technical pre-sales role; proven customer facing technical background
• Strong knowledge/understanding of telecommunications, CCaaS, UCaaS and SaaS
• Understanding of IT infrastructure
• Awareness of concepts for product and solution integrations via APIs, Web Services etc.
• Strong commercial awareness
• Excellent communicator, both verbal and written; written is particularly important
• Confident and proven presentation skills
• Confident to make own assumptions/caveats and develop solution proposals around same
• Proactive approach, willingness to ‘roll your sleeves up’ to get the job done
• Delivery and deadline focused
• Strong time management skills in a demanding and dynamic sales environment
• Able and willing to travel to customer and partner sites in UK, Ireland and EMEA locations, occasionally at short notice
• Must hold clean, valid driving license
