This position will report to the Sr. Manager, Data Transformation. Working with the Sr. Manager and cross-functional teams, the Sr. Analyst will be responsible for the development and support of a variety of initiatives meant to enable the Rogers for Business analytical and reporting needs. Current initiatives include the development of a consolidated billing view of the customer as well as building penetration metrics. The successful candidate must have an unwavering attention to detail, an insatiable desire to find answers, tolerance for data ambiguity, and a proven track record of working with large, complex datasets. The Sr. Analyst must also have an in-depth understanding of key wireless and wireline metric information.

What you will do:
Support Rogers for Business analytical development priorities, acting as a liaison between the team and various cross-functional teams

Maintain and update a 360-degree-customer-revenue view

Develop and maintain building-penetration metrics

Analyze stakeholder requirements and find actionable, value-added solutions to drive revenue growth, improve operational efficiency and reduce costs

Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in large, complex datasets

Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and create datasets as necessary

Filter, clean and transform data into information, insight, and actionable business decisions

Develop and manage proof of concepts (POCs) that illustrate and test solutions

Track project progress and communicate results with stakeholders

Perform ad-hoc analysis and provide recommendations and insight

What you will bring:
Post-secondary education in Mathematics, Statistics, Information Management, Computer Science or other related disciplines

Highly refined analytical, and programming skills

Familiarity with querying Rogers wireless and wireline datasets; e.g., V21 and SGI

Must have proficiency in SQL and experience working with Oracle, SAS, and Microsoft PowerBI

Experience with Microsoft Azure and Databricks is also an asset

Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings

5-Years telecommunications industry experience

Excellent written and oral communication

Solid relationship-building and influencing skills, with a proven ability to work within a team

Self-starter with proven organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and deadlines

Strong sense of ownership, drive, and desire
