The purpose of this job is to support, maintain, and repair phone systems in Pilot Flying J (PFJ) retail and wireless mobile devices at Knoxville Support Center, including above-store PFJ Team Members in the field.
- Work with telecommunications vendor technicians to troubleshoot phone system issues at PFJ facilities
- Approve service invoices for work performed at PFJ facilities
- Assist Telecommunications Support employees with training and troubleshooting difficult issues
- Monitor work of telecommunications vendors
- Determines appropriate action to take for repairing or replacing phone systems
- Determine purchase source of depot parts for phone systems and mobile devices
- Manage, develop and guide Telecom and Wireless Support team
- Manage, support, and oversee wireless mobile accounts (Verizon/AT&T)
- Oversee Wireless Support email inbox, incoming support calls, and trouble tickets
- Fulfill new order requests for mobile devices
- High school diploma or equivalent certification required
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferred
- Avaya,, Cisco or other phone system certifications
- Telecommunications knowledge
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Fundamental Networking knowledge
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to troubleshoot telecommunications problems
