The TELUS Business Architecture team will be leading an outside-in focus to shape the evolution of communication services and help our customers stay connected to the people and things that matter to them most. You will be part of a team that will be leading transformation of holistic B2B strategic blueprints to fulfill our market strategy and customer experience vision while incorporating operating and business strategy.

Our team includes a passionate group of strategists, business consultants, senior technical architects, and vendor management specialists. We work closely with all groups in the sales to cash value chain to help qualify our strategic investments, and architecture roadmaps.

What you’ll do

Top Priorities:
Develop and manage a Business Architecture integrated plan to timely delivery and successful outcomes.

Manage multiple business architecture projects (architecture decisions, business investment recommendations, strategic capability artifacts, architecture blueprint content), in other words, not the typical software development delivery projects.

Manage the front door process for our newly-forming Strategic Alignment Assessment Process.

AIteratively, our team will build a holistic corporate view of Business Architecture informed by your expertise in: tracking and statusing projects, keeping project teams on track to their deadlines, resolving issues, keeping internal customer happy, and overall making sure Business Architecture delivers on its promises to BNS, other business groups, and CDO. You will also directly engage in governance forums to support strategic blueprint and standards development and management.

We are looking for a passionate team member to join our TBS Business Architecture team. In this role, you will be among the key resources helping to drive the strategy around our complex customer business needs. This is critical in our ability to meet the increasing expectations of our customers while still remaining focused on our long term roadmap for the platform.

Program management skills with a sharp business and financial acumen and proven leadership, storytelling influencing, problem solving, negotiation, and analytical skills

Engaging and building strong, collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams and all levels of leadership, including executives

Advanced communication skills conveying complex and/or ambiguous business problems in a clear and simple way that is understood by the target audience

Flexible – ability to work with a diverse technical team and simplify the message through executive communications

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities seamlessly.

Lifelong learner, in the area of program management willing to re-evaluate how we operate so we can advance our business

University degree
