Position Overview:
This is a full-time contract opportunity as a SR PROJECT MANGAGER with a hybrid work environment (3 days In Office and 2 days remote; per week) located in the Denver Tech Center area.
We are looking for a master multi-tasker Project Manager with excellent planning, organization, and communication skills with an upbeat attitude. Candidates must have project management experience, preferably in the technical industry. Candidates must be able to travel to the office at least 3 days per work week.
Responsibilities:
- Work with management in assigning technical staff to project-specific tasks
- Ensure project tasks are clearly defined and documented
- Maintain project team schedules and resource assignments
- Manage Gantt Charts, Action Registers, RACI, etc.
- Familiar with interacting in large-scale technical environments
- Interact with employees, contractors, customers, and vendors via Email, Phone, Instant Message, Video/Conference Call
- Schedule and lead conference calls
- Take accurate minutes of meetings and then archive and distribute
- Streamline project procedures and implement best practices
- Write Statements of Work, Estimates, and Quotes
- Maintain project budgets and fiscal aspects of projects
- Prepare, distribute, and track customer invoicing
- Coordinate In-Take trouble tickets with the technical team
- Organize and schedule meetings and appointments
- Act as a single point of contact to our customers
- Maintain and publish contact lists
- Research, create, and distribute regularly scheduled reports (e.g. project reporting)
- Generate quarterly newsletters (internal and product-facing)
- Assist with general office management tasks
- Provide general support to visitors
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects
- Develop administrative staff by providing information, educational opportunities, and experiential growth opportunities
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
- Organize and/or coordinate travel arrangements for team members
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Oversee, supervise, and mentor the work of junior staff members
- Ability to evaluate project performance and report accordingly
Requirements:
- PMI PMP or equivalent Project Management certifications
- Proven project management experience in large-scale enterprise projects
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficient in MS Office product line
- Use software tools to automate and streamline workflow
- At least 10 years of experience in the field or in a related area
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Reliable transportation and valid state-issued Driver’s License
Additional Desired Skillsets:
- Technical certifications and/or education
- E.g. Amazon AWS, Cisco, CompTIA, Redhat, etc.
- Experience with scoping and deploying software products and solutions
- Familiar with the technical components of modern software products
- Experience in the CATV/MSO industry
- SCRUM/AGILE concepts
