Sr. Telecommunications Analyst

Description:

Our client is looking for a resource for their Cisco UC team. They are open to contract, contract to hire or direct placement resources. They have enough skills within admin and operations. Can look at long-term contract resources (we can try an H1) or C2H/DP. They will need to be on-site in Green Bay, WI 2-3 days a week.

This role does require some onsite work, and possibly some after hours work if rolling out/replacing equipment to users. Some builds and engineering could be done remotely though.

Must have:

Experience engineering and configuration or architecture level, of Cisco UC equipment. Advanced in this and can provide sr. level technical knowledge and thought leadership

Administration of Cisco UC systems

They have been doing an Avaya to Cisco conversion and are about 2/3 complete. A large amount of the work will be driving that project to completion over the next 12 months. Deploying Cisco phone system, SPC cube router configurations, patches. looking at health and viability of the system.

Works closely with network team

Avaya is a plus

Cisco UCCE or UCCX would be a plus

Certs would be great

No degree requirement

In 2 year project to migration from all legacy Avaya systems to Cisco.

Programming functions for UC system – ex: voicemail boxes

Our client is currently merging with Gunderson Health Systems which could also create new opportunities.
