Structured Cabling Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities:

· Design and implementation telecommunications pathways, spaces and technology rooms

· Directly manage and coordinate with team members and varying dependent organizations to ensure successful on time completion of Structured Cabling design implementations.

Familiar with The ANSI/ITA-568 and ISO/IEC 11801

Design hospital build-out projects for clinical and non-clinical space, technology rooms, such as IDF’s and BDF’s.

Design and prepare the layout of floor plans, riser diagrams, schedules, specification notes and details with special emphasis on Structured Cabling.

Liaison with data connectivity support to receive patching schedules and requests

Liaison with Telecom Department to design POE’s.

Create RFP’s and bid packages for Low Voltage Cable Contractors and IT Design Engineers

Level bids

Review proposals and process paperwork for approval

Skills required:

5-7 years of HealthCare experience is preferred

RCDD Certification or willingness to achieve is preferred

Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others

Ability to think ahead and plan

Provide effective problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and a functional level

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Must be able to meet deadlines and multitask

Must be able to work in fast paced team oriented environment

Must be willing to travel within the Tri-State area.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $85.00 – $90.00 per hour
