Structured Cabling- Technician – This person will perform communications cabling tasks. Install Audio/ video systems and security cameras.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Experience pulling, terminating, and testing voice/data cabling (Cat5e/6)
Experience installing Communications cables
Experience working on both new construction & renovation projects
Installing Support Structures (ladder racks, cable slings/trays, j-hooks)
Terminating phone blocks & patch panels (24/48 port)
Build out telecommunications closets
Dressing & labeling MDF/IDF rooms
Must be able to work on ladders and use power tools
Experience with Fiber is a plus+
Requirements:
Must have a valid drivers license & reliable transportation
Skill/Knowledge Requirements:
– Preferred 3+ years experience running projects in the communications cabling industry
– Maintain a positive attitude and professional dress and demeanor
