Role:

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for a specified workflow team within a Crown Castle warehouse facility. He/She provides leadership and supervision of the Warehouse Operator and CWA team who execute inventory control and material logistics within the warehouse facility as it relates to their core workflow. The position requires experience with warehouse facility operations, logistics, financial inventory controls, audit compliance including OSHA safety rules and regulations. Position responsibilities involve lifting, lowering and carrying packages that typically weigh 25 – 35 lbs. and weigh up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Warehouse Operators and/or Sub Assemblers that perform a dedicated workflow category or special services task in the facility
• Monitors and manages performance to ensure that their team is meeting customer service level requirements

• Planning and execution of their team’s day-to-day workflow and team assignments
• Performs Quality Control function for material orders
• Monitors their team’s safety and ensures all teammates are working in accordance with all mandated safety requirements
• Communicate, monitor, and improve individual, team, and designated workflow KPIs
• Partners with Logistics Clerk to ensure the team’s inbound and outbound shipments are in alignment with proper policies & procedures
• Delivers cycle counts, variance resolution and yearly PI
• Tier I warehouse exception resolutions
• Ensures all internal customer and management requests/issues are resolved proficiently
• Performs other related duties as requested by the Warehouse Manager0

Expectations

• Strong Microsoft office and data entry skills
• ERP implementation experience
• OSHA Fork Truck training and experience required
• Strong communications skills verbal and written
• Customer focus, with a problem-solving approach

Education/Certifications

• High school diploma
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field a plus

Experience/Minimum Requirements

• Two (2) years of leadership experience in warehouse management and procurement
• Experience with inventory in the Telecommunications, ISP, Fiber Optic or Wireless space
• Supervisory experience

Additional:

• Valid drivers’ license and excellent driving record
• Travel throughout the Crown Castle footprint be required
