Job Detail

We’re looking for a Supervisor to join our Telecoms Team based in Glasgow, Scotland. Within this role, you can enjoy the use of a company van to cover business miles, 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays, progression opportunities and even more.

Location: Glasgow, Scotland

Contract: Permanent, 45 hours per week

Salary: up to £36,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Responsibilities

As a Supervisor, you’ll be working within the Virgin Media Team reporting to the Project Managers, supporting them to ensure that all Client orders are delivered to time, in a safe and compliant manner and to ensure all contractual processes, procedures and quality standards are met.

Your day to day will include:

  • Ensuring the relevant Health and Safety standards are followed and achieved, and that work sites comply with all current legislation whilst delivering a high standard of work.

  • Co-ordinating, supervising and auditing the crews (both direct labour and sub-contractor) across both Virgin Media and OpenReach workstreams, ensuring the correct paperwork is maintained and submitted in a timely manner.

  • Work alongside the Project Manager and Co-ordinators to manage all outstanding defects and to liaise with the Highways Authority’s regarding defect notifications and co-ordination of repair work.

Who are we looking for?

This role of Supervisor is great for you if:

  • You hold a Driving Licence and NRSWA Supervisor ticket with Supervision experience.

  • You have experience of managing defects and interims and have a knowledge of road types and materials

  • You are familiar and knowledgeable of Virgin Media and or OpenReach telecoms networks.
