Description:

  • Manage 50+ job openings ranging from entry level to director level positions
  • Provides guidance to hiring managers and employees related to hiring policies and procedures.
  • Partner with hiring managers to determine knowledge, skills and attributes required to perform the job.
  • Place advertisements for job openings on job boards as needed.
  • Provides guidance, training and reference materials to hiring managers in preparation of interviews.
  • Review resumes and assess candidates to determine qualifications. Participate in screening and interviewing (virtually) applicants as needed. Coordinates/schedules applicant interviews with relevant parties.
  • Participate in career fairs as needed.
  • Work with the hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance (AAP).
  • Determine job offer, prepare, negotiate and extend job offers. Initiate background check and new hire onboarding.
  • Participates in staffing and HR related projects involving analyzing and compiling of data, research, and preparation of reports.
  • Stays current on the company’s organization structure, policies, federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
  • Develop/maintain relationships with schools, staffing agencies, outreach organizations and other groups as necessary to meet outreach goals and AAP compliance.
  • Prepares documentation for Affirmative Action files.

Requirements:

  • Must live within 2 hours max of Mankato (in case an interview has to be conducted in the office instead of virtually).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the full cycle recruitment process.
  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on Human Resources or other appropriate discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • General understanding of OFCCP/AAP Guidelines required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Teams, Outlook, Excel and Word).
  • Experience with applicant management applications; PeopleSoft HRIS preferred.
  • Proven track record of hiring diverse and inclusive talent.
  • Strong working knowledge of current federal/state employment regulations required (i.e. EEOC and OFCCP).
  • In-depth knowledge of federal/state laws, employment regulations and current HR issues, trends and best practices

Additional Info:

  • Pay: $55K-$65K + corporate bonus program of 5% annually
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
  • Location: 100% remote (office is based out of Mankato, MN – must be in 2 hours driving distance)
