You are responsible for
- Establishing positive customer experiences and relationships, while actively supporting implementation service strategies of patient monitoring equipment, to achieve customer loyalty.
- Managing customer relationships and effectively partnering with peers and regional sales counterparts.
- Supporting the transition from break fix operating model to customer solution focused operating model (account management), while keeping customers and other stakeholders informed throughout the implementation.
- Improving operational performance and compliance individually and across CCT and supporting change initiatives to improve efficiencies, productivity, and the execution of business commitments.
- Supporting financial performance results within CCT including service revenue and equipment revenue.
- Collaboratively developing territory strategy to drive growth and productivity with the highest level of integrity.
- Working cross functionally to manage risks and identify growth opportunities (e.g. install base, VAS, Multi-Vendor, PCMS, US, IS) and leverages CCTs to support the growth.
- Taking initiative to continuously develop technical and professional skills commensurate with business strategy and applicable emerging technologies.
- Contributing to the overall success of PCMS Services by supporting decisions, aligning strategies, and crossing boundaries to remove roadblocks for the attainment of team goals and objectives.
- Participates in fostering teamwork with local sales and clinical team.
- Demonstrates the ability to hold a crucial conversation, might involve manager.
- Eligible candidates need to live within the territory or within commuting distance to the San Jose/Sacramento/South Bay area.
You are part of
The Philips Connected Care – Hospital Patient Monitoring (HPM) business. This division of Philips specializes in the installation and service of patient monitoring devices, networks, and telemetry systems to avoid and reduce complications and improve the care delivery process across the entire hospital. As hospital environments become more integrated, the service organization is looking to expand its ability to install and service complex networks, as well as consult with customers on high-end integrations.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following
- Bachelor’s in computer science, electronics, biomedical (or similar discipline) or 3+ years of relatable network troubleshooting experience in the healthcare, IT or electronics industry
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification or ability to obtain within 4 months of starting
- Experience with medical devices such as patient monitoring, telemetry units, ventilators, and defibrillators (highly preferred)

Working knowledge and/or ability to apply:
- mechanical devices, network tools, and test equipment (i.e. digital multimeters, etc.)
- electronic circuit boards, processors and computer hardware including applications, programming, and systems functionality
- electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment
- Experience and knowledge of telecommunication systems (a plus)
- Ability to understand and utilize technical vocabulary to perform tasks according to either verbal or written instructions.
Additional information:
- Job operates in the hospital/medical environment and remotely; potential exposure to hazardous physical, chemical, and biological agents and will require you to meet all customer specific mandates such as vaccinations and or screening tests.
- Average driving is 1-4 hours daily and may exceed 50% at times. Overnight stays and travel by air or train may be required.
- US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
