Our senior team members have worked in government agencies, telecommunication carriers and defense contracting companies.

Chain Security strives to create transparency within the supply chain sector of technology to minimize security risks against threat actors and vulnerabilities. We specialize in establishing a level of required trust mandated by the United States government for technology companies that incorporate other technology companies, products, or services. We assist our clients by conducting a thorough risk assessment of their technology, development processes and deployment to mitigate risks.

About this Job
Chain Security is looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our team as a contractor to assist in migrating customer’s applications to a Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure. As a Technical Project Manager at Chain

Security, you will be working with a team of professionals who have extensive product development and technology experience.

Location: Employee will work remotely
Hours: Negotiable hours, roughly 20 – 30 hours/week
Temporary Position: 3- 6 months with a possibility for longer engagement and permanent employment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
  • Delegate tasks on the project to those best positioned to complete them.
  • Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project.
  • Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.
  • Communicate with executives or the board to keep the project aligned with the goals.
  • Perform quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected.
  • Adjust schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change.

Job Requirements:

  • United States Citizenship, non-negotiable
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or related technical field required
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others
  • Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising department teams
  • Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
  • Managerial experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
  • Knowledge of NIST security related standards: 800-53 Rev4 and 800-171 helpful
  • Experience with Microsoft migrations, cybersecurity implementations, third-party software integrations desirable
  • Familiarity with SmartSheet work management software helpful
