Responsibilities :

Position is on Andrews AFB supporting the White House Communications Agency (WHCA)

Leads team on large projects or significant segment of large complex projects. Analyzes new and complex project related problems and creates innovative solutions involving finance, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components. Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects. Takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, stakeholders and project sponsor. Generates all acquisition documentation required for submittal to government contracting office. Reviews requirements to define project scope and objectives. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.

– Good communication, documentation, presentation and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with senior levels of management.

– Ability to support engineering projects for new service design, implementation, and integration into Operations.

– Serve client as a trusted adviser and technical sounding board for the evaluation of current specific projects and help inform the strategic direction of the portfolio as a whole

– Serve as technical representative for product demonstrations and briefings, as directed by client’

Requirements:

– Knowledge of the government acquisition and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) desired

– 5 years of experience and direct supervision of technical project management, project integration or telecommunications management

– Bachelor’s Degree or greater

– Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

– Current TS/SCI clearance required for this position with the ability to be cleared for Presidential Support Duty (PSD/YW)

– Experience with Microsoft Project

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $135,000.00 per year
