Stratus is currently hiring for a Cloud Sales Overlay to join its team in Illinois.
The Cloud Sales Overlay is responsible for assisting Stratus team members at all levels with the growth of cloud products and services. The role is directly responsible for the success of Stratus’ cloud sales growth and for supporting team members in sales to the existing client base as well as driving new business to prospective customers. The Cloud Sales Overlay is the expert in cloud products, maintains exceptional knowledge of Stratus’ cloud products’ technical aspects and features, and maintains an additional understanding of competing products and services. The Cloud Sales Overlay develops materials to deliver all new hire training and existing employee refresher training on sales of cloud products and attends sales calls and appointments when necessary to answer technical questions and perform customer demonstrations and presentations.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise to assist in achieving and exceeding overall organizational cloud sales growth targets
- Develop and deliver technical training materials, presentations, and product demonstrations for new hire, refresher, and enhanced team training
- Increase cloud sales by delivering advanced technical discussions during sales meetings when requested in the sales environment
- Provide technical recommendations to Stratus sales representatives for their use in creating end-user proposals
- Work regularly with Stratus Engineering team members to learn new product enhancements and stay abreast of competitive information
- Remain knowledgeable as the technical sales expert in Cloud Sales
- Fully understand the existing Stratus product portfolio to assist during sales presentations and customer interactions
- Partner with Stratus Engineers and support groups when necessary to assure ultimate customer satisfaction post-implementation
- Ensure timely reporting to leadership whenever necessary
