Job Summary:
Technical Sales lead the technical engagement with the customer both Pre and Post sales and therefore have to rely on solid technical knowledge and consulting selling style to support sales opportunities.
Job Description:
Main Responsibility Areas:
Educate customers on Telepin Products and solutions.
Understand customer requirements and articulate the business value of Telepin solutions.
Lead the technical engagement with customers: Including workshops, trials, Scope of Work, High Level Design and RFx responses.
Providing the technical interface to customers by capturing input for new features and designs.
Cross-department communication to drive complex opportunities internally.
Employee may be asked to perform other ancillary or related duties as required, to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Broad understanding of FINTECH industry technology and processes.
Excellent communication skills; oral and written communications to technical, business and executive audiences. Including effective demonstration and presentation techniques.
Strong facilitation skills.
High level of personal motivation, and a positive approach to researching, analyzing and documenting new business opportunities.
Ability to lead the customer engagements and use own initiative
Strong ‘people skills’ for successful working with individuals from different teams.
Capable of working independently and as part of the project team.
Comfortable with individual responsibility for commercial aspects of key customer engagements.
Ability to develop customer relationships by listening to, understanding & anticipating, and providing solutions to customer needs.
Full ability to understand complex business solutions.
Results oriented approach to work.
Flexibility to travel internationally when required on specific sales opportunities
Work Experience Requirements:
+5 years or more experience with Operator / Service provider or FINTECH supplier, including:
Technical experience from product management, pre-sales, deployment or post-sales support.
Expertise to architect the optimal solution from unique business and technical requirements.
Passion for new products and opportunities.
Bachelor degree in a related field.
The importance of exceptional presentation, facilitation and relationship building skills cannot be overstated for this role
Experience working in the telecommunications/network operator or FINTECH industries
