Senitor are working with a well-established wireless network solutions company are looking for a personable individual experienced in telecommunications to join their in-house team as a Technical Support Engineer.
The role will primarily involve providing post-sales technical support to customers deploying our client’s telecommunications products and the ideal candidate will have previous experience in hands-on telecommunications or installations type role. The role will also involve 1st and 2nd line analysis, testing of telecoms equipment and providing support to the installations team.
Key Skills / Experience should include:
3-5 years telecommunication experience
Cisco CCNA/P
Good knowledge of IP and TDM technology
Good knowledge of L2/3 networking protocols
Knowledge of network management systems
Understanding of VOIP, SIP, RTP, TCP & UDP protocols
Degree in Electrical or Telecommunications or equivalent (beneficial)
The ideal candidate will have positive and proactive communication skills, work effectively under pressure and have a diplomatic approach to problem solving.
The hours are Monday – Friday 8:30-5:30 in a modern, Liverpool-based office with casual dress and future flexibility for hybrid working if required.
