Technical Support Engineer

People Source Consulting have an opportunity for a Technical Support Engineer within the Finance industry. This is an On-site opportunity. The ideal candidate is self-motivated with a proactive and consistently high-output work ethic. You’ll be working in an international, global team, and support (first and second level support) customers during their lifecycle as a client.

Responsibilities:

• To maintain an outstanding quality of service for customers and clients throughout their lifecycle.
• Maintaining key relationships with an outcome focus.
• To resolve technical/hardware infrastructure issues or business-related workflow issues during initial client communications.
• To identify and resolve software issues, whilst working effectively with internal teams.
• Testing all features and products on the platform for regression.

Qualifications:

• Experience of at least 2 years’ equivalent.
• Fundamental IT knowledge: Java, TCP/IP, Windows, Linux/Unix, performance/connectivity troubleshooting.
• A strong sense of customer service (details and service orientation).
• Adaptability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
