Technology, Media and Telecommunications Marketing Co-Op

WHAT YOU’LL DO

We are seeking a strong internship candidate to support the marketing team for BCG’s global Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) practice. In this role you will assist the Global Marketing Senior Manager and Marketing Senior Coordinator in a variety of tasks including tracking the development of global TMT content, including; publications, videos and creative collateral. Using creative software tools, individuals in this role will directly support and develop LinkedIn content and help maintain the practice area’s LinkedIn Showcase page. To measure and track marketing performance, the TMT marketing intern will help maintain our marketing analytics dashboards and report on performance metrics. TMT’s marketing intern will also support internal email communications across the practice covering a wide-range of topics.

The Global TMT marketing internship provides the opportunity to gain experience in global marketing and analytics and work in the ever-evolving tech space at one of the leading management consulting firms.

YOU’RE GOOD AT

• Maintaining a database of marketing activity across the practice area
• Working with a CRM system to create and distribute communications
• Learning new technology platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Figma and Adobe Photoshop to design and distribute communications
• Drafting exciting social media copy for a business audience
• Using LinkedIn as a messaging tool
• Analyzing and illustrating data

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

• Strong organization and project management skills
• An interest in creative design
• Familiarity with CRM
• Familiarity with Email Distribution Systems
• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint capabilities
• Some familiarity with event planning
• An interest in Technology and Telecommunication industries
• Strong interpersonal credibility, reliability, and service mentality

A team that is committed to working with the leading telecommunications and technology companies to solve some of the world’s biggest challenges. Our marketing team is globally dispersed and works together virtually using collaboration tools including Slack and Zoom. You will work with the Dallas-based Marketing Manager and Senior Coordinator. You will also work alongside several other Global marketing interns.
